You're statement that FJS was not chosen to be the ranking member of the House judiciary committee following the take-over of Congress by the Democrats is not entirely true. The Republicans place a six-year term limit on all committee chairs. FJS was finishing his third term as House judiciary chairman in 2006 and was therefore ineligible to serve in a leadership position on that committee even if he wanted to. Do you find this valuable?
