Great American Cleanup - Milwaukee

Saturday, April 19Lincoln Park, Milwaukee 9:00 - 12:00 The Great American Cleanup is a Nationwide Program that encourages you to get involved in your own community. Millions of volunteers clean and beautify their community as part of hte Great American Cleanup each spring. The Great American Cleanup is the nation's largest organized annual cleanup, beautification, and community improvement program. Last year, more than 45,000 volunteers participated in the Great American Cleanup in the Milwaukee area alone. The GAC begins on March 1st and runs until May 31st. Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful will host this year's cleanup program in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties. You can join an existing cleanup or organize your own. The official Community Cleanup Day is April 19th, 2008 from 9am-12pm at Lincoln Park (1301 W. Hampton Ave., Milwaukee).
