When they upgraded the hot water system at the arena they needed a way to conserve energy but to insure that all athletes could shower at the same time. So thethey used a heat exchange system powered completely off ofby steam provided by WE Energies. This allowed them to actually go to a smaller water heating system and was still able to provide the necessary hot water.
