Conservation of Wildlife and HabitatsThe Prairie Enthusiasts This group's goal is to protect and preserve the endangered prairies in the Midwest. Educational events, inventory and protection, and management and restoration are the main areas of focus. It is a non-profit organization that is active in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Volunteers are welcome, as well as new members. There are many different membership options with fees ranging from $15 - $5,000. For more information go to
