While there are a number of environmental issues in a number of different categories, there are issues specific to Wisconsin that are important to know and understand. The goal here is to expose and educate residents of the state of Wisconsin about what the issues are, how national and international issues are present in Wisconsin, and to help residents better understand the far-reaching impacts of these issues (or rather, why something has become an issue).
